A typical night...

Our typical night goes something like this.
To feed all 10 puppies and clean all 10 puppies bottoms, takes roughly 45 minutes. Give or take a couple depending on each pup.

Around 12:15am the pups are fed their bottles, and have their bottoms cleaned.
We get to get in bed around 1am, get a little shut eye and then it's time to feed again at about 2:30am. Crawl back in bed around 3:30am, back up at 5:30. Feed and clean again, crawl back in bed until 7:30, time to feed and clean again. Then we'll crawl back in bed until about 9am, so we can get as much sleep as possible squeezed in. Shortly thereafter it's time to feed again and get started with our day.
Our typical day consists of the same routine, except we don't ever get to sleep in between. It's up and at'em gettin' all the things we regularly have to do done.

We have to wash and dry puppy towels every day or every other day depending on if they mess them up.
We use approx. 10-12 ounces each feeding as of right now. This means we are going through a can of milk with our other added nutrients, every 2 feedings. We use unscented and alchol free baby wipes to clean their bottoms, and this means going through about 60 (give or take) in a day, sometimes more depending on their mess yet again.

They are quite the little boogers though. Each one already has it's on little quirks, and it's on little special place in our hearts. Brittany is like a little diva. Always wanting things her way when, where and how she wants them. Simon is content to drink his milk, and go back to bed with a full rounded tummy. Julie can be funny with the bottle nipple sometimes, and sometimes she's fine. Jeanette is petite and semi-lean, she likes to watch her figure. Eleanore is a moo cow, she drinks and kinda looks like one anyways. Jackie is just an okay kinda gal. She's pretty mellow and cool with whatever. Theadore is alot like Theadore from the movie(hence his name). He loves to curl himself around your neck and lay, and he's shorter and fatter. Alvin,Dave and Ian are all a lot alike. They love their milk(as they all do), but sometimes act especially quiet yet eager to have their milk.

The whining is something else when it comes time to feed. If you heard all of them whining when they know it's time for milk, you'd think they were getting pinched. Even though they can't see or hear yet, they sure know when we've brought a bottle. They can be sound asleep, and as soon as we enter the room with their bottles, they become wide awake.

Right now as I right this they are sound asleep in their new "bedroom". We had them in a plastic tote box, but they don't fit in it as well as they did, and we want to be sure they have plenty of room. Therefore they have moved to the "big chipmunk" pen. It's a playpen with soft mesh sides and a soft mesh floor. They've still go all the same kinda love, tlc, covers, etc. just a jumbo size apartment now. hehe

All 10 seem to be thriving well still. Praise the Lord! They haven't had the easiest of starts in life, but with the Lord's help and our consistent dedication to these babies, I hope they come through this with flying colors.

If you are interested in one, please do not hesitate to let us know, and we will go from there.
